GEOG 372: Introduction to GIS

This course is designed to provide basic theoretical knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS) and training in methods exploring GIS applications in the field of environmental science. This course is divided into lecture and computer lab components. It is designed for students with no prior GIS experience.

This course is designed to provide basic theoretical knowledge in satellite remote sensing and training in methods exploring remote sensing applications in the field of environmental science. Since Fall 2019 was the first time this course was offered, there was no prerequisite.
